The Oliver 2018 Classic lathe brings the Lathe back to the Oliver Line, and in true Oliver fashion. Starting with a solid, stable cast iron base and legs, Oliver adds a powerful 2hp Motor with a wide speed range for a variety of tasks. An RPM meter gives you an accurate read on your speed so you can precisely adjust for any particular job. Cast iron is found throughout, on the bed and toolrest, as well as the headstock housing. But the best feature on this lathe is the inboard and outboard headstocks, enabling you to work on very large bowls on the outboard side of the machine.
